7 Days Diet Challenge: Final Day and conclusion

Here it goes! Alhamdulillah, yeay, I've finish my 7 days diet program and as a result, I've shedded away 8.5 kg of my weight to 102.9 kg. I really cant imagine I can finish this diet properly. Even though I did not achieve 10 kg as planned, 8.5 kg is already enough to encourage myself to give more effort on losing my weight.

Now after 7 days diet have ended, during breakfast, I've found out that 3 spoon of fried kue tiaw (64 calories) and a small cup of nescafe o (60 calories) is enough to fill my empty stomach. I will have 5 days of rest (consume 400 calories per days) and starting my 13 days diet on this sunday, 27th April 2014.

7 Days Diet Challenge: Sixth Day

Hello, today is full of food and unfortunately, my body cannot accept them. So I'm just eating a bit than the quantity listed below. At the morning, i had 1 boiled egg which is equal to 56 cal. At 11 am, i ate 1 cup of boiled vegetables (cauliflower, broccoli and tomato). For lunch it is 100 g of boiled lean meat. The vegetables and meat altogether is 347 cal. At the evening, i consume 1 medium fuji apple which equal to 80 cal. A lot of calories consumption today making me eager to do exercise. I dance zumba with my friend but only for 22 minutes. Sweating like a hell make me decided to do this everyday in or out of diet programme. I also read some book telling, combining food and exercise is a good  way to lose weight.


So here is what i ate yesterday but I'm not really taking it all, it's too much, so I gave some to my friend. My weighing scale today have some problem and broke, so I use my friend scale and today even with exercise, I only manage to lose 400 g. Sad case. Never mind, I did enjoy the boiled meat. So my weight is now 104.1 kg and I have lost 7.3 kg in 6 days of this diet program.

Yeah that means I have only 1 more day to finish this hell diet. Cool!

7 Days Diet Challenge: Fifth Day

Sorry for late update. Well during my fifth day, I consume 750 mL low fat dutch lady milk. During the day, i walk a lot and as a result, my weight is now 104.5 kg with total lost of 6.9kg in 5 days. =) 2 more days to go!

Oh Allah, please give me the strength to be istiqamah in what i do.

7 Days Diet Challenge: Fourth Day

Ah, fourth day finish already. Yeay, another 3 days to go dude. So yesterday i ate a lot of vegetable emmm too much lettuce is making me throw up but it's okay because i love carrot.



Well, after eating, i still feels my body is in hunger mode. Yesterday is very passive, I dont even walk like i used to be in previous day. So at the fifth day, when i woke up, i found that my weight is 105.6 which mean i have lose about 1.2 kg only for fourth day. Never mind then, I've learn two lesson, u should go for some walk, about 15-20 minutes to burn more calories and too much calories in carrot maybe is the reason why i cannot lose more than 1.2 kg during the fourth day. So my total lost is about 5.8 kg in 4 days of this 7 hell day.

7 Days Diet Challenge: Third Day

Third day is tougher than the previous day. Starvation starts to knock in rapidly. But hey, I've made it through the day. Headache is super annoying. Well in third day, I drank about 1.5 L water and in the fourth day in the morning, my weight is 106.8 kg. Yeah, I've lost another 1.5 kg and in three days, my total weight loss is 4.6 kg.

I plan to reach 80 kg at the end of may. Insya Allah.

7 Days Diet Challenge: Second Day

Another day of suffering is now over and for second day, i got rapid headache and my stomach sometimes making stupid noise (hungry). Well this thing does not affected my diet. Woke up at 7 am yesterday, and my weight is 109.8 kg. Even though i'm on diet, I'm still going to lab and doing my routine activity.  I drank a cup of low fat milk at the morning, evening and at night. Total of 3 cup and at 9 pm i ate an apple (red apple). I slept at 12 am last night. 

Today, I woke up at 7 am with heavy headache. After taking a bath and defecating, my new weight is 108.3 kg. So during the second day, I've lost about 1.5 kg. Alhamdulillah, 5 more days to go through. Total diet day of 2 and I've lost about 3.1 kg. Alhamdulillah.

7 Days Diet Challenge: First Day

So here it is. 24 hours without foods. To be honest, I'm not in the starving phase yet, but my body feels tired all day long. Wake up at 6 am yesterday then i weight my body after taking a bath and defecating. Initially, my body weight yesterday is 111.4 kg.

At 10 am, I go to lab and sitting in a food room while writing my paper (because there are no more empty seat in the lab). My biggest challenge is my lab mates eating delicious food around me, but gratefully I didnt consume any food. Then, at 6 pm I'm arriving my room, then the headache come. I force myself to sleep for 10 minutes just to reduce the headache. 

At night, I've watched korean drama just to distract me from feeling hungry. Nah, i skip every scene which involves eating. You know, korean food always looks delicious. I sleep at 12 am, and woke up at 8 am, Taking a bath and defecating and measuring my weight; 109.8 kg.

So, during my first day, I've lost about 1.6 kg. 6 more hell's day to go through. yeah. Alhamdulillah.

Diet Plan: How to lose 10 kg in 7 Day

Originally yesterday, I plan to execute the 13 days diet but with a help from my friend (she's currently trying to lose some weight too), we manage to find another crazy-diet plan of losing 10 kg in a week. 13 days diet is very interesting as i have reduce 8 kg in 13 days as i tried it before. However this diet for me is quite expensive. Massively eating chicken and meat everyday is something that i cant afford. So last night, i've made a decision to give it a try on that 10 kg-7 days diet. This diet really need a strong will as you cannot eat anything in the first 3 days. Me myself, i never miss eating even for a day, before. This is really a big challenge to me. 

I have to tell myself this everytime i feel hungry, "I have eat everything I want in the past 24 year that I have lived, now, why dont I sacrifice just for this 7 days?" mmm. Ok, so here is the rough meal plan for this diet  plan (survey from 3 different blog on this):

Day 1
  • 1.5 L mineral water decomposes into six portion (i think i just drink if i feel hungry).
Day 2
  • 1 L skimmed milk (about 0.3% fat). I cant find any skimmed milk at the shop, so i just buy low fat milk (4% fat) then. At 9 pm, eat an apple.
Day 3
  • 1.5 L mineral water decomposes into six portion.
Day 4
  • 1 L Salad (carrot, salad, tomato) divide into three portion. 2 glass of mineral water or tea without sugar.
Day 5
  • 1 L skimmed milk (about 0.3% fat). An apple at 9 pm.
Day 6
  • Breakfast: a boiled egg.
  • 11 am: 1 cup boiled vegetable. Apple as snack.
  • Dinner: 100 g boiled meat + 100 g canned peas.
  • 9 pm: an apple as snack.
Day 7
  • 100 g cottage cheese ( i replace it with natural yogurt).
  • 2 glasses of milk.
  • A cup of tea without sugar.

People said that this diet can help you lose at least 10 kg and in some cases, they lost 11-11.4 kg in 7 days. The first 3 days, rapid head ache can occur. So today, 15 april 2014, with weight of 111.4 kg, I've just started the first day of this diet. Overall conditions and things experienced today will be concluded in tomorrow's entry. Breaking the Ice Cube

Firstly, to the grammar police out there, I would like to tell you that my English is not very fluent. Sorry if I annoy you with my stupid grammar.Well this is my first time writing a blog. I heard from someone before this, blogging can help u release your stress, express your feelings and many more. So, I write this blog to give myself new experience and err maybe as an action to encourage my weight loss progress. 

Let's talk something about myself. I'm a woman, age 25, married, a student, and having a problem with my weight. Yeah. Weight. Overweight. With only 154 cm height, my total weight at this moment is 112 kg. I am not born as a fat girl, in fact my weight started to amplify itself around the age of 16. I love food, yeah, very much, who doesn't love food anyway? haha. My weight started to increase drastically when i met my husband, first 2 years of our relationship, i gain 20 kg. We're married on may, 2013 (my weight is 117 kg at the moment). After married, i try to lose some weight yea, doing 13 days diet, going to weight management centre and many more, then from 117 kg, i lose 20 kg to 97 kg. But during thesis writing, i gain back another 15 kg. Blurghhh. So here I am, with new mission. MY GOAL is, 55 kg at the end of this year. So much to lose huh? It's like losing 3/4 of my weight right now. Well i believe, when there is a will, there is a way.

If I forget what is my purpose for reducing my weight, this is a reminder as why i want to do a big changes to myself:
  1. For Allah; as I'm having difficulties to perform my prayers. Especially during the tahyat akhir.
  2. For my husband; as a sign of love as he wish i can reduce my weight to 80 kg. 
  3. For myself; 10 years as a fat girl, i want to stay healthy, as age increases, risk to get diseases is higher.
  4. For my mothers; ya, both my mother and mother-in-law as they never get tired to nag about my weight, if given a chance, they can nag all day long about my weight. 
  5. For the person WHO TREATED ME DIFFERENTLY from others, just because i'm fat and not beautiful to their eyes.
So today, Tuesday, 15 April 2014, I'm starting a new journey for my weight loss. Wish me luck, courage me more and don't seduce me with foods. I hate foods.
